Centuries after humanity's mysterious collapse (along with most living things), the world belongs to the machines we left behind — scavenging the ruins for the life energy that keeps their batteries charged: MANA.

It's scarce. It's hoarded.
And it emanates from what few living things are left.

A crime boss called Fat Cat, and his bounty hunters, control almost all of it — draining what little organic life remains and selling it back to desperate bots, one cartridge at a time.
